Quizest is a live quiz game at quizest.party. This page explains, in plain words, what information we handle when you use it and what happens to it.
What we collect
If you create an account, we store your email address (used only to send you sign-in links) and the display name you choose. We also store what you make and do on Quizest: the quiz topics you type, the quizzes generated from them, and game results such as scores and answers. Players who join a game without an account give just a nickname and an avatar for that game. We do not collect ad profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
AI-generated questions
When you create a quiz, the topic you typed is sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) to write the questions. Your identity is not sent with it, only the topic and quiz settings.
Where your data lives
Quizest runs on trusted service providers: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivering sign-in emails) and Google (AI question writing). They store data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
What is public
Quizzes can appear on the public homepage, along with their topic and title. High scores show the nickname and avatar used in the game. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
How long we keep it
Your account data is kept until you delete your account, which you can do yourself at any time in Settings. Quizzes you made stay on the site after deletion but are no longer linked to you.
Your rights
You can see, change or delete your data: your name and account in Settings, and everything else by contacting us. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
